What EB means
EB is a CIDB class of work meaning Electrical Engineering — Buildings. Electrical installation inside buildings: distribution boards, wiring, lighting, power reticulation and building electrical maintenance.
On a tender you will usually see the grade and class written together. A requirement of 6EB means Grade 6 in the Electrical Engineering — Buildings class. You are graded separately in each class you register for, so you can hold a high grade in one class and a low grade in another.
