Terms of Service

By creating an account or using TargetTender ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

TargetTender is a subscription-based tender alert and matching service designed for South African businesses. We aggregate publicly available procurement notices and match them to your business profile.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. We use magic link authentication, no password is stored.

One account per person. You may not share account access with other individuals or businesses without a separate subscription.

Pro subscriptions are billed either monthly (R349/month) or annually (R3,490/year) in South African rands, processed via Paystack.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You authorise us to charge your payment method on the renewal date unless you cancel beforehand.

We may update pricing with 30 days' advance notice to active subscribers.

TargetTender offers a free plan that includes a weekly email digest of up to 6 matched tenders. The free plan does not require a payment method and is available for as long as you maintain an account.

Upgrading to Pro is optional. Pro subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually) and begin immediately upon subscription. You may cancel at any time.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, you retain access until then.

We do not offer refunds for partial periods. If you believe there has been a billing error, contact us within 30 days at support@targettenders.co.za.

Tender data is sourced from the National Treasury eTenders OCDS API, provincial government procurement portals, and other publicly available sources. We update data every 2–4 hours.

We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any tender information. Tender details can change without notice. Always verify requirements, closing dates, and specifications directly with the issuing authority before submitting a bid.

TargetTender is not affiliated with the South African government, the National Treasury, or any government entity. We are an independent aggregation and matching service.

Eligibility matching is based on the profile information you provide (CIDB grade, BBBEE level, sector certifications). Matching is automated and may not be exhaustive. A tender marked as "eligible" does not constitute a guarantee of qualification, you remain responsible for verifying your own compliance with tender requirements.

You may not use the Service to:

• Resell or redistribute tender data to third parties without written consent.
• Scrape or bulk-download tender data via automated means.
• Misrepresent your business profile or qualifications.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose under South African law.

We collect your email address, the business profile information you enter (CIDB grade, BBBEE level, provinces, categories), and usage data (which pages you visit, which tenders you save) to provide the Service.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We use Supabase for data storage and Resend for email delivery, both are GDPR-compliant infrastructure providers.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@targettenders.co.za.

The TargetTender platform, design, matching algorithms, and original content are owned by TargetTender. Tender data sourced from government portals is public information, we make no proprietary claim over it.

The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, TargetTender is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including losses resulting from inaccurate tender data, missed tender deadlines, or unsuccessful bids.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
