The successful bidder shall uninstall, remove and decommission nine (9) existing indoor units and thirty-four (34) existing outdoor units from Roads Agency Limpopo offices, then purchase, supply, deliver and install seventy-two (72) new air-conditioning units comprising: 13 cassette 12,000 BTU; 12 cassette 18,000 BTU; 6 cassette 24,000 BTU; 3 cassette 30,000 BTU; 13 mid-wall 12,000 BTU; and 25 mid-wall 18,000 BTU units (LG, Samsung or equivalent). Work includes connecting units to existing electronic time switches in the distribution board, insulating copper refrigerant piping with Armaflex per SANS 10173, installing 550 mm cantilever brackets for outdoor units, supplying and installing weatherproof isolator boxes and switches, routing pipes and cables through 75 mm × 75 mm PVC and steel trunking, testing and commissioning all units, and clearing all waste and packaging from site. All work must comply with South African legislation, occupational health and safety requirements, and relevant SANS standards. The bidder must provide all tools, equipment and materials at no additional cost. Site location: Roads Agency Limpopo, RAL Towers, 26 Rabe Street, Polokwane 0700.
