- • Compliance with Eskom Contractor Health and Safety Requirements Standard 32-136
- • Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993
- • Compliance with Compensation for Occupational Diseases and Illnesses Act 130 of 1993
- • Acknowledgement of OHS legal requirements via signed Annexure B form
- • All employees must undergo relevant Eskom induction and company induction
- • Demonstration of contractor/supplier appointment process and selection criteria
- • Prior notification to Eskom before appointing subcontractors or suppliers
- • Ensure contractors/suppliers have adequate resources and competencies
- • Monitor subcontractors through audits and OHS compliance assessments
- • Penalties for non-conformance to OHS requirements
- • Main supplier accountable for all contractor/supplier OHS compliance across all tiers
