- • SANS-approved Personal Protective Equipment provision
- • Notification to provincial director at least 7 days before work (excavation/height work/demolition)
- • Part-time Construction Health and Safety Officer appointment
- • Weekly electrical installation inspections with recorded findings
- • Daily electrical machinery inspections with checklist
- • Regular fire extinguisher servicing and training
- • Periodic health and safety audits (minimum every 30 days)
- • Construction employee facilities (drinking water, ablution, toilets)
- • Health and safety signage requirements
- • Consolidated H&S file closeout before retention payment
