RFP for supply and delivery of raw steel materials (plates, sheets, sections, shapes, stainless and spring steel) to Transnet Engineering nationally on an as-and-when basis for five years, with technical specifications including EN 10204 type 3.1 certification requirements.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • EN 10204 type 3.1 material inspection certificate with every delivery
- • First Article Inspection approval before supplying quantities
- • Chemical composition analysis per EN 10204 type 3.1 for commercial quality grades
- • Mechanical properties testing (tensile and impact testing) per EN 10204:2004 type 3.1
- • Material tolerance in accordance with EN 10029 Class B unless otherwise specified
- • Technical assistance personnel available to support product use
- • No rust or corrosion on material surface upon delivery
- • Materials stored in dry areas, free of dust/corrosion and mechanical damage
- • Written concession approval required for material equivalence proposals
- • Acknowledgement and acceptance of specification signed by bidder
