Hosted PBX Telephony Services (5 years) – Transnet National

Transnet Corporate Centre requests proposals for the provision of hosted PBX (Private Branch Exchange) telephony services on a national basis for a five-year contract period. The service must be delivered across all Transnet locations nationwide, including ports, rail depots, and corporate offices. Bidders must provide interoperability with existing Transnet devices and confirm compatibility through a formal letter. The service must include 24/7 enterprise-grade support available continuously throughout the contract term. The bidder must hold a valid Electronic Communications Network Services (ECNS) licence issued by ICASA or obtain formal ICASA approval for licence transfer if using a subsidiary or parent company structure. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) certification confirming approved partnership status for the proposed PBX solution is mandatory. ISO27001 information security certification must be current and valid. The contract is subject to a master service agreement (Annexure O), service level agreement (Annexure D), and Transnet's general bid conditions. Pricing must be structured according to the pricing workbook (Annexure C). Geographic coverage includes all Transnet national ports authority facilities, lighthouses, and rail network depots as detailed in the technical scope annexures. The service must comply with Transnet's ICT change management standards and the supplier relationship management framework. Failure to submit all specified technical pre-qualification requirements will result in automatic disqualification.
