Archival Records Arrangement and Description – Eastern Cape Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture

The successful bidder will provide resources for the arrangement and description of archival records held at Qonce archives. The contract duration is 24 months (though the contract conditions state 36 months). The service involves organizing and cataloguing archival materials to make them accessible and properly documented. The bidder must demonstrate experience in archival work, organizational procedures for effective delivery, and compliance with the Department's operational requirements. The work will be performed at Qonce archives. The bidder is required to attend a compulsory pre-bid meeting on 21 October 2026 at 10:00–11:00 via Microsoft Teams. All bid pricing must be inclusive of VAT and submitted on the attached Pricing Schedule form. The bidder must provide details of relevant experience, financial standing, organizational structure, and the location of their nearest office to the service delivery site. Bids close on 4 November 2026 at 11:00 and must be delivered to the Supply Chain Management Unit, Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture, Wilton Mkwayi building, No. 5 Eales Street, Buffalo Road, King Williams Town.
