  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree required for at least one team member
  • Minimum 10 years experience in legislative/regulatory drafting (mining, occupational health and safety, engineering, environmental, or public regulatory sectors preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years experience in mining engineering, mine health and safety, mining operations, or mining regulatory implementation
  • Strong working knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act
  • Experience in mining legislation, subordinate legislation, regulatory reform, or statutory interpretation within South African mining sector advantageous
  • Must be available for presentations to Mining Regulations Advisory Committee (MRAC) and Legal Drafting Committee (LDC)
  • Must complete all deliverables within 4 months of appointment
  • SBD 1 (Invitation to Bid) fully completed and signed
  • SBD 4 (Bidders' Disclosure form) fully completed and signed
  • SBD 6.1 (Preference Claim Form) fully completed and signed with valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
  • SBD 3 (Pricing Schedule) fully completed
  • Proof of Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
  • Tax Compliance Status PIN from SARS or CSD supplier number
  • Bidders must achieve minimum 70% in Technical/Functional evaluation phase to progress
