City of Tshwane seeks a professional service provider with ECSA registration, 10+ years railway infrastructure and SMS experience, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and R5m professional indemnity insurance to audit and manage the City's Railway Safety Management System in compliance with RSR determinations.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • At least 2 Professional Civil Engineers with valid ECSA registration
- • Minimum 10 years directly relevant experience in: (1) railway infrastructure structural assessment on active networks; (2) development/auditing/updating Railway Safety Management Systems compliant with RSR determinations; (3) structural health monitoring of railway tunnels/bridges; (4) physical and risk assessment of railway level crossings per SANS standards
- • Prior direct interaction with Railway Safety Regulator (RSR) on behalf of railway permit holder
- • Minimum 8 years managerial working experience within railway safety regulatory environment
- • Minimum 2 contactable reference letters from clients confirming relevant railway/SMS work in past 10 years
- • Current, valid NOSA grading or ISO 45001 certificate (not older than 12 months)
- • Professional Indemnity Insurance certificate or broker letter (not older than 3 months)
- • Audited financial statements for past 3 years (or proof of exemption)
- • Municipal rates and taxes up to date (not in arrears >90 days)
- • Duly signed and completed MBD forms (MBD 1, 4, 5, 8, 9)
- • Company registration certificate
- • All company directors/members/major shareholders municipal rates/taxes up to date
