Olifantsvlei Cemetery Development is a 6-month civil construction contract for Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo at the Olifantsvlei Cemetery site (Cemetery Office Block, corner of Golden Highway R553 and Stockwell Avenue, Nancefield). The work involves development and infrastructure improvement of the cemetery facility. Bidders must attend a compulsory site briefing session scheduled for 15 October 2026 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the site. The tender requires completion of a full Bill of Quantities as specified in the tender document. Bids are evaluated on a 80/20 preference points system (price and specific goals), with additional points available for women-owned enterprises (51% or more ownership: 10 points) and locality within the City of Johannesburg (10 points). The bid validity period is 120 days from closing date and may be extended if needed. Submission is permitted from 9–11 November 2026 (closing 12:00pm on 11 November).
