Bulk Water Supply Infrastructure to Bo-Dorp, Swartruggens — Kgetlengrivier Municipality

The contractor will design, procure, and construct bulk water supply infrastructure serving Bo-Dorp in Swartruggens for Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality. The work comprises engineering design, procurement of materials and equipment, construction of water supply infrastructure, health and safety management, and project supervision. The contract requires compliance with the General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works (Third Edition, 2015), the CIDB Construction Industry Development Regulations, and the municipality's occupational health and safety and environmental standards. Bidders must achieve a minimum functionality score of 70 points to proceed to price evaluation. The contract is subject to a 90-day bid validity period. Successful bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database, in good standing with the Compensation Commissioner, and able to demonstrate compliance with construction health and safety regulations. A security check will be conducted on the successful bidder prior to contract signature. The municipality will adjudicate bids using an 80/20 preference system (80 points price, 20 points B-BBEE contribution).
