RFQ for professional services from a multi-disciplinary team (architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers) to design and deliver Phase 2 of the Johannesburg Zoo Gorilla Enclosure Extension, with declared budget of R3,000,000 excluding VAT.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Multi-disciplinary professional team structure required
- • At least one fulltime registered professional in each discipline (Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, Construction Health & Safety)
- • Certified copies of qualifications and valid professional registration certificates with registration numbers for all registered principals
- • Key Persons documentation from all mandatory disciplines
- • Attendance at compulsory site briefing/assessment meeting (31 August 2026 @ 10:30 am)
- • Valid COIDA Certificate (Letter of good standing from Department of Labor)
- • Proof of company address (latest municipal statement not older than 3 months, not in arrears >90 days) or valid lease agreement
- • Company shareholder certificate(s)
- • ID copies of all company owners
- • Valid Joint Venture agreement if applicable with all parties' mandatory documents
- • Professional Indemnity Insurance at total project value (to be submitted after award but before construction commences)
- • Completion of entire tender document including all SBD forms (MBD 1, MBD 3.1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9)
- • Completion of Bill of Quantities/Specification in full
- • At least one professional engineer must attend compulsory clarification meeting
- • All corrections must be initialed; correction fluid strictly prohibited
- • VAT vendor status declaration
- • Firm pricing inclusive of VAT
