Supply, delivery, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and ongoing support of a complete Access Card Printing Solution for City Power Johannesburg. The solution comprises a Retransfer Double-sided Identification Card Printer (industrial-grade, supporting full-colour and monochrome printing, edge-to-edge capability, single-pass dual-sided printing); printer ribbons in YMCK, YMCKK, YMCKUV and Black Monochrome configurations; holographic security laminates incorporating City Power branding for employee, contractor and visitor identification cards; and blank PVC contactless smart cards in CR80 format (85.60 mm × 53.98 mm, 0.76 mm thickness). The printer must achieve minimum 120 full-colour cards per hour in single-sided mode, support 300 × 300 dpi resolution, accommodate card thicknesses 0.25–1.02 mm, and be compatible with Windows 10/11 and Lenel S2 access control infrastructure. The system must support magnetic stripe encoding (HiCo/LoCo), contact and contactless smart card encoding, MIFARE and iCLASS encoding, and inline single and dual-sided lamination with holographic overlays. Cards must comply with ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1 standards, operate at 13.56 MHz, provide 16K and 2K bits EEPROM, support encrypted data transfer, 64-bit diversified keys, mutual authentication, anti-cloning, and secure credential management. All equipment must be new, manufacturer-supported, CE marked, FCC and UL compliant, and supplied with card design/management software. Consumables must be original manufacturer products in sealed packaging with minimum 12-month shelf life, stored at 5–25°C. The solution must comply with POPIA, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
