Indigent and Pauper Burial Services – Langeberg Municipality (12 months)

Langeberg Municipality requires appointment of service provider(s) to deliver indigent and pauper burial services for a 12-month contract period. The services are for the municipality's residents who qualify as indigent or pauper cases. The bid document does not specify the volume of burials anticipated, service area boundaries within the municipality, specific burial grounds or facilities to be used, or detailed service specifications such as response times, documentation requirements, or coordination with other municipal departments. Bidders must submit completed bids in sealed envelopes marked with the quotation reference, delivered to the Langeberg Municipal Office at 28 Main Road, Ashton, by 12:00 on 06 November 2026. Evaluation will follow the Council's Supply Chain Management Policy using the 80/20 preference point system, with preference points weighted 80% and price 20%.
