Thembisile Hani Local Municipality invites quotations for construction of approximately 3.63km of road and paving with 80mm concrete interlocking paving in Msholozi (Ward 4), requiring EPWP labour-intensive compliance, local SMME subcontracting (30%), and key personnel with National Diploma Civil Engineering.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Project Manager and Site Agent must possess minimum National Diploma in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 6)
- • Project Manager and Site Agent must have involvement in 1-3 or more comparable road construction projects
- • Contractor must employ local SMMEs Sub-Contracting Company for work up to 30% of project amount
- • EPWP labour-intensive requirements compliance (SANS 1914-5)
- • Compliance with SAFCEC pay rates and tables
- • Sub-contractors must be paid fortnightly; main contractor must allow financing
- • Sub-contractors must be paid within 7 days of invoice submission
- • Detailed construction program linked to project duration required
- • Construction work must start within 2 weeks of site handover
- • Works must be completed within 12 months of site handover
- • Service Level Agreement to be signed within 30 days of appointment letter receipt
- • Site office minimum 20m2, 3m high, ventilated, soundproof with hard floor
- • Latrine and ablution facilities required
- • Documentary evidence that key personnel meet qualifications required
