Monthly Pest Control Services – Road Accident Fund (12 months)

The Road Accident Fund requires monthly pest control services at its offices for a 12-month contract period. The service provider will have access to RAF premises and may handle confidential, private, personal, or sensitive information. The provider must implement comprehensive security measures including: secure document handling and transportation in lockable containers; secure storage in lockable cabinets with access control limited to authorised personnel only; physical security with controlled access points, surveillance cameras, and 24/7 monitoring; fire suppression systems with carbon dioxide extinguishers; perimeter security with controlled access and alarm systems; incident reporting obligations for any suspected security breaches with CCTV footage and police reports; compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013; network security including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption; cybersecurity measures against malware and phishing; regular system updates and patching; documented incident response plans for data breaches; vetting of subcontractors and third parties to ensure compliance with data protection standards; and cooperation with RAF audits and monitoring. The service provider must maintain detailed records of document storage, retrieval activities, access history, and retention schedules, with access control procedures ensuring only authorised personnel can access or transport documents.
