Construction of reservoir completion works for the Thapane Regional Water Scheme Upgrading & Extension project, located at Thapane New Command Reservoir (coordinates 23°04'21.10"S 30°02'24.97"E). The project involves reinforced concrete water retaining structures and related water infrastructure. Bidders must demonstrate experience in similar water infrastructure projects including reinforced concrete water retaining structures, sewage/sanitation infrastructure networks, and pumpstations, with completed projects evidenced by signed completion certificates. The contractor must provide a contract manager with engineering or project management qualifications registered with SACPCMP, a site agent with engineering or project management qualifications, a safety officer with health and safety qualifications, and proof of ownership of all required plant and equipment. Compulsory briefing session held 16 October 2026 at 11h00 at the site. Bid submission closes 09 November 2026 at 12h00. Non-refundable bid document fee is R2,500.00. The contract will be evaluated on functionality (minimum 80 points required) before price evaluation under Preferential Procurement Regulation 2022.
