Supply, delivery and installation of furniture for Power and Lighting Offices at Cape Town International Airport. The work is for Airports Company South Africa SOC Limited at Cape Town International Airport. The contract period is 40 working days from the Starting Date (upon signing of the contract by ACSA). The defects date is 12 weeks after Completion, with a defect correction period of 4 weeks. Assessment occurs at 4-week intervals. Delay damages are R3,000 per day. Retention is 5%. The contractor must provide proof of Public Liability insurance with an indemnity limit not less than R25,000 before the purchased goods are delivered and installed. The contract is based on the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Contract (April 2013) with additional conditions (Z1–Z17) covering interpretation, termination, cession restrictions, joint and several liability for joint ventures, ethics compliance (including anti-corruption and anti-money laundering), confidentiality, and the Employer's step-in rights. The contractor must not cede, delegate or assign rights or obligations without written consent. If a joint venture, the key person with binding authority must be notified within one week of the Contract Date.
