- • Professional Indemnity and Fidelity Cover of R450 million (proof required)
- • Proof of placing assets above R1 billion in value
- • Minimum 10 years' experience in placing municipal and public sector clients
- • Appointed in past 3 years as intermediary for short-term insurance on portfolio exceeding R1 billion (confirmation and appointment letters required)
- • Appointed as intermediary for short-term insurance on municipal portfolio in past 3 years (appointment letters required)
- • Dealt with individual claims exceeding R100,000 in past 3 years (client names provided)
- • Directors: minimum 2 with minimum 16 years' experience each; BCom degree (Insurance & Risk Management and/or Accounting); FAIS accreditation; IODSA Certificate; IRMSA Certificate; FIA Member Certificate
- • Account Managers: minimum 2 with minimum 10 years' experience each; B.A (relevant degree); Risk Management NQF level 6; Advanced Insurance Practice NQF level 6; Short-Term Insurance NQF level 5; IISA Certificate (Fellow & Associate); FAIS Accredited (RE 1 & RE 5)
- • Claims Manager: minimum 5 years' experience; Diploma in Insurance; FAIS Accredited (RE 5); Programme in Risk Management NQF Level 6; IISA Advanced Insurance Practice NQF level 6; IISA Fellow Certificate
- • Minimum 5 reference letters from companies with insured assets over R5 million
- • Confirmation letters of 3 highest value claims exceeding R5 million
- • Vehicle tracking management system with 24/7 availability, live web-based tracking, theft alerts, location tracking, trip logs, notifications, overspeed reports, incident reports, activity reports, driver identification
- • Detailed approach and methodology required
- • Confirmation of agency agreements with insurers
- • Detailed broker fee structure for Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3
- • BEE rating by external independent rating agency accredited by SANAS
- • If outsourcing >25%, provide equity ownership and HDI status of beneficiary partners and service portions outsourced
- • Names of 5 local authorities where bidder applies risk management, risk control and finance solutions
- • Proof of registered South African representative
