Saldanha Bay Municipality seeks a specialist hydrogeological services provider for coastal/confined aquifer management and wellfield modelling until 30 June 2029; requires 10+ years lead hydrogeologist experience, SACNASP registration, professional indemnity insurance (R1m minimum), and minimum 3 past projects (R400k+ each) with site visit attendance compulsory.

- • Professional Indemnity Insurance (minimum R1,000,000 per claim)
- • Minimum 3 successfully completed hydrogeological projects in past 10 years (R400,000+ each)
- • Experience with coastal aquifers or confined aquifers
- • Wellfield management experience under Water Use License
- • Numerical and wellfield modelling experience
- • Lead Hydrogeologist: MSc Hydrogeology or equivalent; 10 years experience
- • Hydrogeologist: MSc Hydrogeology or equivalent; 2 years experience
- • GIS Professional: MSc Geoinformatics or equivalent; 2 years experience
- • All key personnel must speak minimum 2 Western Cape official languages
- • 4-wheel drive vehicle provision for field data collection
- • Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire
- • Certificate of Authority (for partnerships/JVs)
- • Declaration of Interest
- • Declaration of Conflict of Interest and past SCM practices
- • Certificate of Independent Bid Determination
- • Not restricted under SCM abuse provisions
- • Tax compliance with SARS or foreign supplier exemption
- • No conflict of interest with employer
- • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate from SARS
