Armscor issues RFI/02/2026 seeking qualified service providers to participate in a Request for Information process for design, supply, installation and commissioning of solar PV systems at their headquarters; responses must demonstrate experience, OEM status or accreditation, facility security clearance capability, and technical competence.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Valid Armscor FSC (Confidential or higher) or willingness to apply
- • Minimum 2 completed similar projects (stages 1-6) with operational plants
- • ECSA accredited professional engineer for sign-off
- • OEM confirmation or OEM accreditation letter
- • Compliance with SANS/IEC 62109-1 and 62109-2 standards for inverters
- • Compliance with NRS 097-2-1 grid interconnection standard
- • Crystalline silicon (c-Si) based PV modules
- • Batteries supporting minimum 5000 cycles to 80% capacity
- • AC/DC reticulation compliance with SANS 60947, SANS 60269-1, SANS 60269-6:2021, SANS 62930, SANS 62852
- • 25-year lifespan solar solution with upgrade capability
- • 12-month post-installation maintenance commitment
- • Provision of detailed design, commissioning, test certificates, and training materials
- • Quality Management Plan aligned to Armscor requirements
- • Training capability for operators, engineers, and technicians
