Lease of Port Land in Richards Bay – Bayview Precinct (19,602 m²)

Transnet National Ports Authority is seeking lease applications for land situated on Lots 4/1, 4/2, 4/3, 4/4, 4/5, and 4/6 in the Bayview Precinct at the Port of Richards Bay. The total extent is 19,602.31 m². The leasehold is available for immediate occupation and may be used for warehouse, equipment storage, or clean cargo storage operations. The lease tenure is for a period of up to 15 years. This is a port-related activity lease through Transnet SOC Limited's operating division. Applicants are invited to submit lease applications via upload to the Transnet system. The RFP closing date for bid submission is 20 November 2026 at 16:00 CAT. A non-compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 21 October 2026. Requests for clarification must be submitted by 06 November 2026 at 16:00 CAT. B-BBEE accreditation is required; EMEs and QSEs may submit sworn affidavits in lieu of formal ratings. Transnet reserves the right to cancel, modify scope, extend dates, or decline any or all lease applications without obligation.
