Lease of 400m² Land and Building at Port of Richards Bay – Transnet National Ports Authority

Transnet National Ports Authority is leasing a property comprising land and building with a total extent of 400 square metres, located at Lot 223, Umhlathuzi No. 16230 (Plan No. RBH 87-A-613) in the Port of Richards Bay. The premises are available for immediate occupation and are designated for equipment storage and office purposes. The lease term is for a period of up to 5 years. Bidders must be accredited for B-BBEE rating in accordance with the latest DTI Codes of Good Practice, or submit sworn affidavits if they are EMEs or QSEs. A non-compulsory briefing session will be held on 21 October 2026 at the TNPA Port of Richards Bay ECC Building from 09:00 to 12:00, with an online option available via Microsoft Teams. Bidders attending physically must submit copies of their IDs in advance for access permits and are required to wear a safety vest on Port premises. Requests for clarification must be submitted by 06 November 2026 at 16:00 (CAT). Bid responses must be uploaded to the Transnet system by 16:00 (CAT) on 20 November 2026. Lease applications received after the closing date will be disqualified. Transnet reserves the right to cancel the lease application process, reject any applications, extend dates, modify scope, or withdraw the advert without obligation to interested parties.
