Internal Audit Services for The Playhouse Company (3 years)

The Playhouse Company, a Schedule 3 public entity and cultural institution based in Durban's CBD operating multiple live theatre venues in KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking internal audit services for a three-year period from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030. The successful service provider must deliver a professional internal audit function comprising exactly 500 billable professional hours per financial year. The tendered annual price must be inclusive of VAT and cover all ordinary costs of delivering the approved internal audit programme, including local travel, attendance at meetings, and routine disbursements. Only exceptional travel, accommodation, or other costs specifically requested and approved in writing in advance by The Playhouse Company may be reimbursed separately. The bidder must submit a proposed organogram and names, qualifications, and experience of key contract-management personnel. The successful contractor will commence services on 1 April 2027. Bidders must provide a comprehensive line-item budget for each of the three contract years and demonstrate relevant experience through a minimum of five current client references.
