What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Mechanical engineering business undertaking with fulltime supervision by registered professional mechanical engineer or technologist
- • Minimum 51% ownership and control by ECSA-registered professionals (mechanical engineer, technologist, or multidisciplinary practice)
- • Proof of current professional registration with relevant council for all registered principals/directors
- • Key Person: at least one registered professional mechanical engineer listed in Contract Data Clause 7.1.2
- • Completed Preference Points Claim Form and BBBEE certification
- • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- • VAT Registration Certificate from SARS
- • Completed SBD1 (Invitation to Bid)
- • Completed MMSEZ-05 (PSP) Bidder's Disclosure
- • Tender Clarification Meeting Certificate - Form MMSEZ-04 (PSP)
- • Particulars of Tenderer's Projects - Form MMSEZ-02(PSP)
- • Fully completed Pricing Schedule - Form C2.2.2 or C2.2.3
- • Completed Form of Offer - C1.1
- • Completed Contract Data
- • Board Resolution for signatory - Form MMSEZ-06
- • If JV/Consortium: Board resolutions for each partner - Forms MMSEZ-07/08
- • If JV/Consortium: Joint Venture/Consortium Agreement
- • If JV/Consortium: Power of Attorney
- • If JV/Consortium: Establishment document signed by all parties
- • Professional Indemnity Insurance proof (minimum 2x contract amount)
- • Proof of ownership/control by ECSA-registered professionals >51% - Form MMSEZ-01(PSP)
- • Professional services projects with minimum R5 Million (incl. VAT) fee value
- • Letters of Appointment or Purchase Orders for professional services
- • Reference Letters (Letters of Satisfaction) from clients confirming satisfactory completion
