About this tender
FASSET seeks a suitable independent service provider to deliver internal audit services from 1 September 2026 to 31 March 2030, requiring professional qualifications, minimum 5 years public sector and SETA experience, and proof of professional body registration.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Proof of registration with Central Supplier Database (CSD report not older than 3 months)
- • Completed and signed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD forms)
- • Valid Original or certified BBBEE certificate or Sworn affidavit
- • Valid Company registration documents
- • Three (3) contactable reference letters
- • Proof of registration, membership, and/or accreditation with recognised professional body (IIA SA, ISACA, SAICA or equivalent)
- • For Joint Venture: consolidated valid BBBEE Certificate and joint venture agreement; all parties must submit SBD forms, Tax compliance status PIN, and CSD
- • Lead Engagement Partner or Chief Audit Executive must hold appropriate professional qualification (CIA, CA(SA), CISA, CFE or recognised equivalent)
- • Minimum 5 years' experience in public sector internal audit (Schedule 3A entities, constitutional institutions, government departments other than SETA)
- • Minimum 5 years' experience in SETA environment internal audit services
- • Independence from FASSET and free from conflicts of interest
- • Competence and conformance with Global Internal Audit Standards (2024/2025)
