About this tender
Emakhazeni Local Municipality seeks a security services provider for 36 months covering offices, plants and workshops. Bidders must register with PRISA, provide liability insurance, demonstrate public sector experience, and achieve minimum 70% on functionality criteria including firearm licenses, trained riot/critical infrastructure teams, and operational planning.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Proof of liability insurance cover of at least R10,000,000
- • Audited financial statements for previous 3 financial years
- • Company registration documentation
- • Joint Venture Agreement (if applicable)
- • Minimum 10 public sector projects with appointment letters and recommendation letters on client letterhead
- • Minimum 5 private sector projects with appointment letters and recommendation letters on client letterhead
- • Riot team of 15 members each with riot control certificate, Grade C PRISA, 9mm pistol, shotgun with rubber ammunition, and team leader with 5 years experience
- • Critical infrastructure team of 7 members each with competency certificate, Grade C PRISA, 9mm pistol, shotgun with rubber ammunition, and team leader with 5 years experience
- • Minimum 3 roadworthy light-duty vehicles (company owned or leased) with proof of ownership/lease
- • Two-way radios or push-to-talk radios with ICASA accreditation
- • Operational plan addressing deployment schedules, patrols, incident response
- • Letter of commitment for riot/critical infrastructure team deployment within 2 hours
- • All documents signed by authorized signatory on Form C Authority of Signatory
