- • 30 days minimum prior notice for system changes affecting data
- • Immediate notification of security breaches
- • Audit rights for Eskom including unannounced penetration testing
- • Subcontractors held to same legal obligations via back-to-back agreements
- • Annual security attestation documentation and certifications
- • Annual penetration testing and red teaming exercises reports
- • SAST and DAST security test results
- • Disaster recovery test results
- • Data destruction attestation and audit trails
- • Security incident management procedures
- • Secure data transfer protocols (SFTP, HTTPS, etc.)
- • Batch and real-time interface capability
- • Data restoration SLAs for loss or corruption events
- • Supplier bears responsibility for accidental data deletion recovery
- • File integrity procedures during data transfer (checksums)
- • Full audit trail access for service evolution activities
- • Cloud service model specification (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, iPaaS, DRaaS, SECaaS, FaaS, DaaS, CaaS)
- • Hosting region disclosure (Eskom prefers SA and EU)
- • Confirmation whether system hosted on Eskom Microsoft Azure tenant
- • Metadata ownership clarification and access rights
- • Data retention and disposition policy compliance
- • No exception or exclusion of liability for data recovery
