Eskom RFB for removal, inspection, manufacturing, and replacement of 18kV busbars at Kriel Power Station on an as-and-when-required basis over 5 years, including cleaning, refurbishment, testing, and component replacement with detailed quality and safety requirements.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Short CVs of all supervisors, quality technicians, and artisans with qualifications and relevant experience required at least two weeks before commencement
- • Up-to-date test certificates for all lifting equipment
- • Up-to-date calibration certificates for all measuring equipment
- • Process Quality Plan (PQP) submission at least 2 months before outage
- • Safety induction and permit to work process compliance
- • Compliance with Kriel Power Station Waste Management Procedure (RER 0221)
- • Compliance with lifesaving rules and confined space/height working procedures
- • PPE provision: safety glasses, welding PPE, gloves, overalls, safety boots, helmets with chinstraps, safety harnesses
- • Safety files submission and approval by Eskom safety department before work start
- • Quality Control check sheets completion for all disassembly and assembly activities
- • Insulation resistance test (minimum 20kΩ at 500V DC) on earthed busbars
- • Use of SAP PM to record work history and costs to second level of headings
- • Full service reports submitted within 30 days after unit is synchronised on load
- • Spares sourcing and documentation using ESKOM stock numbers
- • Special tools inventory compiled and submitted before outage
