What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Valid B-BBEE certificate issued by SANAS accredited verification agency OR sworn affidavit (for EME/QSE) OR sworn affidavit for QSE with 51% black ownership
- • B-BBEE improvement/retention plan submission within 30 days of contract signature
- • Local procurement content proposal (target 100%)
- • Procurement spend proposals on designated black-owned entities (4% black-owned, 3% black women-owned, 2% black youth-owned, 1% black persons with disability)
- • Jobs creation and retention proposals
- • Skills development proposals (1 candidate per R2 Million cumulative spend)
- • Quarterly SDL&I performance reporting
- • B-BBEE migration milestones: Level 4 bidders must achieve Level 3 by end year 1; Level 5-8/non-compliant must achieve Level 4 by end year 1 and Level 3 by year 2

The appointment of consultants for review of the decommissioning costs and componentisation in terms of International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) for the rehabilitation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) including the assessment, accounting and valuation of environmental provisions for Electric Vehicles, Solar PV and Microgrid containers within the Distribution Division for a period of 05 years.
