What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Valid CIDB registration (7GB or higher; 6GB PE not eligible)
- • Active CIDB Contractor Grading designation valid from bid closing through contract award
- • VAT registration (bids must be VAT inclusive)
- • CIPC company registration confirmation (not on de-registered list)
- • Tax compliance verification through CSD and SARS
- • Compensation Fund registration or approved Licensed Insurer (for JV/Consortium)
- • POPI Act consent form completion and signature
- • B-BBEE Verification Certificate (SANAS-accredited) for non-EME entities and QSEs with <51% Black ownership
- • B-BBEE Verification Certificate for QSEs with ≥51% Black ownership and EMEs >R3m turnover
- • Sworn affidavit or CIPC certificate for EMEs <R3m turnover (alternative to B-BBEE cert)
- • Consolidated B-BBEE certificate for Joint Ventures/Consortia (project-specific)
- • Proof of application for CIDB registration if not registered at bid closing (if applicable)
- • Intent to Enter into JV/Consortium Agreement (for JVs/Consortia)
- • Proven track record in turnkey projects (decanting, designing, execution, commissioning, handover, close-out)
- • General Building experience (heritage building experience advantageous)
- • Professional service providers appointed for all required disciplines
- • Minimum functionality score of 70 points
- • Compliance with CIDB B.U.I.L.D Standard for Indirect Targeting for Enterprise Development
- • Compliance with CIDB B.U.I.L.D Standard for Developing Skills through Infrastructure Contracts
- • Heritage conservation principles compliance
- • Compliance with all statutory requirements and National Heritage Resources Act
