Catering services provision at Dr. Beyers Naude Half Way House, Free State Social Development

The successful bidder will provide full catering and related services at Dr. Beyers Naude Half Way House on behalf of the Free State Department of Social Development for a period of three (3) years from the contract award date. The scope includes supply and delivery of meals and catering services as per attached nutrition menus and pricing schedules. The contract is subject to price escalation formulae for non-firm prices, with 85% of the bid price subject to escalation using specified indices and 15% remaining firm. Delivery of all catering must be to the prescribed destination (Dr. Beyers Naude Half Way House). All delivery and service costs must be included in the bid price. The bidder must comply with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022. Contract validity is 120 days from closing date, with closing on 03 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bidders must submit SBD forms (1, 3.1, 3.2, 4, 6.1, 7.2), special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract, joint venture agreements (if applicable), and detailed price breakdowns. Foreign suppliers must complete a pre-award questionnaire. All bidders require a Tax Compliance System PIN or CSD registration number. Price adjustments will be allowed at specified periods per the escalation formula provided.
