Three-Year Catering Services for Boiketlong Old Age Home – Free State Social Development

The service provider must supply and deliver catering services at Boiketlong Old Age Home on behalf of the Free State Department of Social Development for a contract period of three (3) years. The scope includes the provision of meals and related catering services to residents of the institution. Bidders must supply meals in accordance with nutrition menus attached to the bid document (Section 4). The pricing schedule requires the service provider to submit unit prices in RSA currency including VAT for the supply and delivery of catering at the departmental institution for the full three-year period. All delivery costs must be included in the bid price for delivery at the prescribed destination (Boiketlong Old Age Home). Price escalations are permitted during the contract period under the non-firm pricing formula specified in SBD 3.2, where 85% of the original bid price is subject to escalation based on selected indices (labour, transport, clothing, footwear, etc.) and 15% remains firm. The service provider must be compliant with tax obligations and either hold a valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN from SARS or be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
