Replacement of Voile Curtains with Horizontal Blinds – Tshwane Metro Police

The City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality is appointing a single service provider for a once-off replacement of voile curtains with horizontal blinds at the Tshwane Metro Police Department Headquarters. The project covers 20 windows across two floors (ground and first floor), with window dimensions ranging from 1000 mm × 1300 mm to 13150 mm × 2650 mm. The service provider must: (1) carefully remove all existing voile curtains without damaging window frames, walls, or fixtures; arrange professional dry cleaning of removed curtains for storage and future reinstallation; and dispose of linen curtains and hardware per municipal waste regulations; (2) supply new horizontal blinds in durable aluminum or PVC, neutral tones (white, cream, light grey), custom-fitted to each window, with SABS-approved fire retardancy, UV resistance, and scratch-resistant coating; (3) install all mounting hardware, ensure blinds are level and visually consistent, conduct final inspection with project manager, provide 12-month workmanship warranty and product guarantee, and clean the work area post-installation. The service provider must have necessary tools, equipment, and skilled personnel. Work must be conducted during agreed hours to minimize disruption to office operations. Contract duration and final delivery location are the Metro Police Headquarters (cnr Es'kia Mphahlele Drive and Dr WF Nkomo Street, Pretoria West).
