About this tender
City of Ekurhuleni seeks service providers to supply, deliver and offload personal protective equipment, workwear and safety items for parks and cemeteries division on an as-and-when required basis until 30 June 2029.
Requirements to bid
What you need to qualify for this tender
- • B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or Original Sworn Affidavit (for EMEs & QSEs) or Certified Copy or CIPC Certificate required to qualify for preference points
- • Municipal account not older than three months or signed lease agreement or Affidavit (if bidder does not own property)
- • If bid value exceeds R10 million: three (3) Annual Financial Statements as per Companies Act or Close Corporations Act requirements
- • No municipal rates, taxes or service charges in arrears for three months (if value ≤R10m) or more than 30 days (if value >R10m), unless proof of payment arrangement attached
- • Not listed on Register of Bid Defaulters under Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act 2004
- • No conflict of interest (not in service of state, no director/manager/principal shareholder in state service, not an advisor/consultant to municipality causing conflict)
- • Not failed to perform satisfactorily on previous contract with municipality or organ of state in last five years after written notice
- • All mandatory forms completed and signed: Form of Bid General Declaration, Form B (Declaration of Interest), Form D (Past SCM Practices), Form E (Independent Bid Determination), Form G (Municipal accounts), Form H (if applicable)
- • Full completion and signing of schedule of quantities
- • No use of correction fluid, erasable ink or erasable writing instruments on sections affecting evaluation
- • No scratching out, writing over or painting out of rates without initialling (acceptable if total aggregated amount not affected)
- • Properly signed by person with authority
- • Submitted in correct bid box before closing date and time
