What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Letter of Good Standing with COIDA Commissioner or Mutual Association (Section 30 COIDA) - must be current and updated throughout construction
- • Section 37(2) Mandatory Agreement with Client
- • Mandatory Agreements between Principal Contractor and all sub-contractors
- • Approved Health and Safety Plan submission before commencement
- • Medical examination and certification of fitness for all employees by Occupational Medicine Practitioner
- • SANS-approved Personal Protective Equipment provision
- • Construction work notification to provincial director (if applicable - excavation, working at height, demolition, explosives)
- • Periodic health and safety audits at minimum every 30 days
- • Fire extinguishers (serviced regularly) and firefighter training
- • Weekly electrical installation inspections by competent person
- • Daily electrical machinery inspections with checklist and register
- • Consolidated H&S file at project closeout
- • Health and Safety training programme for all employees
