RFP for appointment of financially capable and technically competent strategic investment partner to finance, develop, and operate a gold mining project in Limpopo; open to SA and international investors with minimum 5 years mining experience, R100m+ capital access, and valid BBBEE certification.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (SARS)
- • CIPC registration (South African entities) or equivalent legal registration (international)
- • Valid BBBEE Certificate or sworn affidavit (SA entities); Empowerment Plan (international)
- • Proof of legal standing declaration (not under liquidation, business rescue, or insolvency)
- • Declaration of no blacklisting or restriction
- • Proof of financial capacity: minimum ZAR 100 million capital access (bank proof, term sheet, or irrevocable letter of intent)
- • Proof of liquid funds: at least R25 million
- • Minimum 2 completed mining or equivalent projects exceeding ZAR 500 million in value
- • Attendance of mandatory site visit
- • Declaration of commitment to partnership model
- • Company registration and ownership documents
- • List of contactable references for similar projects
- • Detailed investment proposal addressing corporate profile, funding, financial model, project delivery, organizational capacity, deal structure, and empowerment commitments
- • PowerPoint presentation summarizing proposal highlights
- • For international investors: Certificate of good standing or equivalent legal verification; signed Declaration of Legal Standing (Annexure A); commitment to establish SPV in South Africa
