RFQ for appointment of professional service provider to deliver snake awareness, identification, and handling training for TCTA employees across 24 months, including training materials, certificates, and advisory support on snake-related occupational hazards.

What you need to qualify for this tender
- • Minimum 3 completed projects in Snake Awareness and Snake Handling Training (Annexure A or signed reference letters)
- • Snake Trainer/Facilitator: minimum 5 years experience with wild snakes, recognized certification in snake handling training and venomous snake management
- • Snake Advisory Specialist: minimum 5-10 years experience in herpetology/wildlife management/snake capture, demonstrated workplace snake risk assessment experience
- • Trainers must be accredited/recognised by FGASA, Herpetological Associations, Wildlife handling accreditation bodies or equivalent
- • All training in English
- • Training aligns with wildlife handling best practices and national standards
- • Certificates issued upon completion
- • Strict animal welfare standards for live handling training
- • Detailed CVs for proposed Snake Trainer/Facilitator and Snake Advisory Specialist
- • Valid BBBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit for EME/QSE
- • SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1 (non-mandatory but zero points if not submitted)
- • Minimum 30 points out of 40 on functionality criteria to proceed to price evaluation
